Gather for Gratitude and Connection!
What if a library program didn’t just entertain families—but helped them connect?
Gratitude Gathering is a lively, participatory storytelling experience designed to bring children, parents, and grandparents into the joy of story—together.
Mo Reynolds, a featured performer at the National Storytelling Festival, the Timpanogos Storytelling Festival, and many more blends engaging folk and fairy tales with hands-on audience participation. Each story is carefully chosen to explore themes of gratitude, generosity, and perspective in a way that feels natural, not forced.
But this isn’t a sit-and-listen event.
Families become part of the experience as they help create a brand-new story through guided, laugh-out-loud improvisation. From there, participants are invited into simple, low-pressure storytelling activities that make it easy for every generation to share their own stories—no experience required.
The result is more than a program. It’s a shared experience families can carry home with them.
Why Your Library Wants This!

Mo Reynolds is an international storyteller, volunteering at schools in Mexico as she traveled with her family. So yes, she can do this in Spanish too!
"Where goes Mo, there goes friendship."
Sam Payne,
National Storyteller

Mo has been a featured storyteller at the National Storytelling Festival, the Timpanogos Storytelling Festival and many more. And for good reason. . .
"Mo braids her folktales and personal stories together with wit, understatement, humor, and heart. From little kid to great-grandparent, she’ll take her listeners to familiar places they’ll experience in wonder-filled new ways"
-Megan Hicks,
National Storyteller

Mo is not just a storyteller, she is an educator. She has worked as a K-8 librarian and taught Junior High and High School. She knows how to create engaging activities, handle a crowd, and meet an audience where they are.
"Wow. My idea of storytelling has completely changed in coming here today."
